Plur Pool
A Plur Pool allows creators to earn the yield generated from the staked ETH in the pool.
For Creators,
Creators can post exclusive content for their followers who stake ETH in the pools.
Creators can also give back a portion (%) of the Yield as a bonus to those who stake ETH into the pool (Followers). The bonuses are distributed by randomly selecting a few winners and dividing the yield among them.
Creators have the flexibility to set missions and customize the parameters of their pool.
Creators can sponsor ETH, and the yield from this ETH will be used entirely as bonuses, thereby increasing the bonus value.
For Followers,
To join a pool, followers must complete designated missions and stake some ETH.
Upon joining a pool, followers gain access to the creator's posts and interact with them.
Followers have the opportunity to receive bonuses. The more ETH a follower stakes, the higher their chances of winning a bonus.
Both creators and followers can withdraw their staked ETH with no loss.
Creating a Pool
Anyone can initiate a transaction to create a new Plur Pool.
Customizable parameters for Pool Creators include:
Minimum Staked Amount: The minimum amount of ETH a follower needs to stake.
Bonus (% of yield): A percentage of the yield, e.g. 20%
Winner Amount: The number of winners into which the yield is divided, e.g. 2 winners
Period: The frequency of bonus distribution, e.g. 1 day
Missions: Tasks that followers must complete to deposit money, such as Twitter verification, following the creator’s Twitter account, or owning a BAYC NFT.
Bonus Model
Plur Pools utilize the PoolTogether V3 mechanism for distributing bonuses.
For example:
Bob creates a pool and stakes 20 ETH. He sets the pool to distribute bonuses daily, with 2 winners per draw.
If 10 users join his pool, each staking 1 ETH, each has a 1 in 10 chance of winning a bonus.
The total pool of 30 ETH generates approximately 0.0032 ETH (equivalent to $7.36) in daily yield. This yield is split into two bonuses of 0.0016 ETH each. Every pool follower has a 1 in 10 chance of winning each bonus.
At the designated time, anyone can call the Draw function to perform the bonus draw, and the bonuses are directly transferred to the winners' wallets, with their stakes automatically re-entered into the pool.
